What is an Extended Service Agreement?

Williams Toyota offers vehicle service contracts that go beyond the factory warranty to protect you from unexpected repair costs. Most major vehicle repairs occurs outside your original new car factory warranty, which is why we offer various Vehicle Service Contracts to help unforeseen expenses. You choose the level of coverage that fits your needs. When a covered repair is needed, we work with you to get you back on the road quickly. We offer industry-leading service contracts that include such additional benefits as trip interruption, substitute transportation and towing and can be transferred to your vehicle’s next owner, adding resale value. Three Coverage Packages To Choose From:
-Exclusionary Coverage: This coverage will cover all your vehicle’s systems and components unless listed under Exclusions Section of the Vehicle Service Contract. It’s exclusionary because it is easier to list off what is not covered than what is. Provides all the coverage listed for the coverages below and provides repair/replacement of ALL factory installed original equipment on the Covered Vehicle except those listed under exclusions (see dealer for full details on exclusions).
-Stated Component Coverage: Includes Powertrain package plus the following items: engine cooling system, air conditioning, front suspension, steering, fuel system, brakes, electrical, high tech components, and the navigation system.
-Powertrain Coverage: Includes engine, transmission, transfer case (all lubricated parts) and drive axle assembly (front, rear, AWD or 4WD)
Your Portfolio Service Contracts begins on the purchase date of the vehicle. Coverage level availability may be limited based on the year, mileage, make and model of your vehicle. Deductible may apply. All three coverage levels come with additional features to keep you moving. Including: Roadside Assistance, Towing, Gasoline & Fluids, Flat Tire Assistance, Lock-Out Assistance and Battery Jumpstart.
Also Includes: Substitute transportation for qualified repairs when your vehicle is inoperable and undergoing repairs. Reimbursement of up to $35 per day max 5 days. Reimburse you $75 per day, max 3 days, for food and lodging expenses incurred when a covered breakdown of your vehicle occurs more than 100 miles from your home. For added resale value your coverage can be transferred to a new owner, should you decide to sell your vehicle. The cost of the selected coverage level can be included in the financing of your vehicle. This product is optional, cancellable, and is not required to obtain financing.
Benefits: Your service contract is transferable AND can potentially add value to your vehicle should you sell to a new owner. Can help budget against expensive repairs. Cancellable with pro-rated refunds (only pay for the portion you use). $35 per day rental reimbursement with at least 4 hours labor, max of 5 days. Most lenders will approve the finance of the VSC. Roadside Assistance benefits included on all VSC's. Can contribute to higher resale and is fully transferable. It’s a $100 deductible paid for by us if you service your vehicle at our stores. Backed by the dealership you purchase from AND Virginia Surety. Our service writers will provide you with claims service, authorization and access to an authorized repair facility near you. Enjoy peace of mind with a Vehicle Service Contract, knowing that you are covered anywhere in the U.S. or Canada at authorized repair facilities. Participating dealers can be paid directly for authorized repairs. You should not have to pay and wait for reimbursement.
*Failure to do all required maintenance could void contract. ALL repairs must be pre-approved. If not, coverage can be denied. Contract is fully cancellable, and cancels are pro-rated for time and mileage. Cancels during first 60 days = 100% refund. Cancellation fees may apply ($50). Contract is fully transferable for a fee ($50). A VSC is never required for a customer to obtain financing. All VSC claims may have a deductible or some items which the customer has to pay. Towing, cost of services not payable by insurance will be covered up to $50 per occurrence (some portfolio contracts are $100).
